It was a sunny day at McKinley Park when Cesar and I met to have a Jesus talk. Cesar has been coming to Sac State InterVarsity all year. He is kind, encouraging, creative, and has been seeking Jesus wholeheartedly all year.
At the park, we talked about who Jesus is and what it means to be a follower in his dynamic Kingdom movement. We talked about the brokenness in us and in the world and God's desire to restore those and sending Jesus to do that.
After many questions and Scriptures and "what will it take to get off the fence?", Cesar decided he wanted to be a person who seeks and follows Jesus wholeheartedly, and as he is tranformed, he wants to be a transforming agent to the world around him.
As we talked to God about this decision, we could tell the angels of God were rejoicing in heaven alongside of us!
