Mission Accomplished

i think it's funny that our life, our family, our ministries has turned into an update on running. oh well, that's a big thing right now so that's what i'm writing about. anyway, to get to the

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED -- I DID IT.

my goal was to run the 5K. not to finish it in a certain amount of time. not to keep up with anyone. just finish it without walking. and finish it without walking i did. (and i wasn't in last place, though i certainly didn't "place" either.)
i wasn't sure what my next goal would be or if i'd even have one. would it be to go for a 10K, would it be to try a marathon, would there even be a goal?

my new goal is to improve my 5K time. i'll start working on that very today or tomorrow.

anyway, a happy labor day weekend to you. OUR FAMILY is hoping to relax this weekend together (and catch up on some sleep!)
