joy comes in the morning

tomorrow is MJ's birthday not the real one, but the one that falls on the weekend at his age, he says tomorrow is the day. so it is. WHERE did the time go? he was so little and seemed so breakable and now he carries on like he's a stately older gentleman talking about the titanic saying yes (instead of slang, yeah) asking probing questions articulating better than many people years ahead of him i hope he sleeps well it should be a fun day, super hot weather aside and i can't wait to celebrate him, with him. rockets, get ready!

on another note. FALL buddy update... the bookends of this story are mother's day and father's day many miracles have happened with our little friend, JM, since his fall last month. the fall, which was off a bed, was just enough to warrant an CT scan where he fell was just in the same place as the tumor they wouldn't have found it if he hadn't fallen right there they were doing a procedure to try to do something to prepare for surgery (tumor removal) then he had a stroke. AN ACTIVE 2 1/2 YEAR OLD FRIEND, had a stroke within a short amount of time he fully recovered and got to play in some dirt and mud and camp outside with his daddy before surgery this week the miracle of today is that the MRI shows that ALL of the tumor was removed so now it's all recovery time JM's parents had decided that they would stay up with him all night after surgery. at midnight tonight, there was joy in the morning reunited with their little boy who was mostly knocked out groggy when awake and in some pain but WITH them and now, we find out, WITHOUT the tumor

thankful
