Last Saturday was another day of firsts.
My first cooking class at the Co-op.
I learned how to cook foods with Armenian, Turkish, Cyprian, and Greek influence. I made a delicious cake and sampled tasty dips, kebabs, roasted potatoes and pita bread.
I am resolved to take more cooking classes and am glad my sabbatical reminded me of my love of baking and cooking.
My first longest time apart from MJ for a few hours.
It was a good morning at home apparently. That was news for a happy heart.
I already have signed up for a couple of other classes including Indian and vegan fare. I can't wait.
I am also apprenticing under a friend next week to learn a different southeast asian cuisine. Yay!
