this morning, kidlet and i were enjoying our regular morning/breakfast routine. oatmeal, "reeree" (raisins), some delectable water. mid-meal, all of a sudden, he busts out with "ight" over and over and over again. what on earth is ight?
and then it came to me...
last night at dinner, we lit the advent candles. two of them since we're on the 2nd week. and we read a part of the christmas story. little guy was ECSTATIC, to say the least and was hoping this would become a mealtime routine.
advent is special. so we will be lighting two candles this evening, reading a little bit about our friend, Jesus, who came to the earth as a baby and began a revolution that continues today. and we will talk about how he is the ight of the world.
