another year squeezing out the door while the new one slides past
there is much to celebrate and mourn and commemorate from 2011
i'm most thankful that i sleep longer stretches (if i go to bed at a decent hour -- hint, hint)
there are TONS of other things i'm thankful for too
and there are things i'm sad about
but a new year
a new year provides space for possibility
as an optimist, that's exciting
here's looking at you, 2012
