Bike over the Golden Gate Bridge

That same afternoon, I took a bazillion pictures, playing tourist.
Was in 3 cities: Oakland, San Francisco, Sausalito.
Used 3 modes of transportation: bus, BART, ferry.
And had a fun, fun day.
Next time, have more gears (this city is HILLY) and DON'T go soon after the San Francisco Marathon when a ton of active people (who might rent bikes and have a similar bucket list to mine) want to explore the city and all happen to need the same ferry to get them back to the city -- ALL at the same time!
