rest year

our garden will not be fabulous this year.  various parts of it have been growing for over 7 years.  i'm not trying to get all Biblical on you here, but it's time for it to rest.  and me.  and the demands of watering in our very real drought.
i'll put work into building up the soil.
i might change things around a bit.
i'll get the kid dirt area in tip top shape -- black widow and crazy weed free.
i also intend on getting our front yard, finally, in shape.  something drought friendly, or some such thing.
rest is good.
but there is sadness with lack of anticipation for easy-to-access healthy stuff just out the door.
still, it will be good.
and i'll learn and grow some more.  in new ways...
